You will support clients in navigating their mental health challenges and enhancing their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

About the Organization

Clear Path Counseling Therapy, located in Irvine, California, specializes in providing accessible, high-quality mental health services. Our mission is to empower individuals to lead happier, healthier lives by offering compassionate, evidence-based therapies. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where therapists can thrive professionally while delivering care that prioritizes the needs of our clients.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while retaining a strong connection with our collaborative team. As part of an outpatient practice, you will engage with clients through secure video conferencing platforms, utilizing technology to conduct therapy sessions effectively. Our telehealth approach ensures that you can provide high-quality care from anywhere, with no on-call duties that typically accompany traditional mental health facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one therapeutic video sessions with clients, utilizing a solution-focused approach to promote mental health recovery.
  • Facilitate discussions around clients’ feelings and experiences, guiding them to gain self-awareness and improve their interpersonal relationships.
  • Act as a client advocate, helping individuals identify and set achievable therapeutic goals conducive to their personal development.
  • Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' conditions and formulate individualized treatment plans based on clinical expertise.
  • Closely monitor client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure efficacy and effectiveness in care delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults experiencing a variety of stable, low-acuity mental health issues. Your clients may present challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, stress management, and transitional life phases. The supportive approach of our practice allows you to foster meaningful relationships with clients, encouraging them to thrive in a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • An active, independent license such as:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Proficient computer literacy skills to facilitate telehealth sessions and documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in a telehealth or remote counseling setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or telehealth platforms.
  • Experience with a diverse client population and knowledge of culturally sensitive therapy approaches.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is competitive, with an annual compensation of USD 115,000 to 130,000, dependent on experience and hours worked. Additionally, full-time counselors will receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support their well-being. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, ensuring our team is well-supported both personally and professionally.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Clear Path Counseling, we prioritize professional development and offer numerous opportunities for continuing education that foster growth within the mental health field. You will have access to workshops, trainings, and mentorship programs designed to advance your clinical skills and career trajectory.
