Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients as an Independent Contractor, providing professional counseling and psychotherapy services.
• Conduct thorough assessments of senior clients’ needs, developing personalized strategies and treatment plans to offer the best support.
• Research and refer clients to various community resources, ensuring they have access to the support systems available to them.
• Facilitate active listening and provide counseling sessions tailored to adults and senior clients, addressing their unique emotional and psychological needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress, adhering to best practices in documentation within a telehealth platform.
• Collaborate with the broader team to share insights and strategies that can enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in clinical social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on serving senior clients, a demographic that often requires specialized attention and understanding. These individuals may face unique challenges, including transitions in healthcare, changes in family roles, and increased isolation. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their mental health concerns, allowing you to influence their quality of life positively.

Qualifications

• A valid Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong proficiency in using technology, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and telehealth platforms.
• Self-directed capabilities, allowing for effective remote work without immediate supervision.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of experience as an LCSW is preferred, candidates with fewer years who demonstrate strong clinical skills and a passion for mental health may still be considered. Experience working with diverse populations, particularly seniors, would be a significant asset to this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
