Job description

TEAM LEADER (Harlem, NY)
Starting Pay: $26.66/hr.


JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform cleaning duties alongside team members for the majority of each shift.
  • Lead and direct team members on-site, assigning tasks and adjusting workflow as needed.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the shift and address issues as they arise.
  • Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
  • Monitor supply and equipment levels and report shortages or equipment concerns.
  • Follow and enforce health, safety, and OSHA standards.
  • Track team attendance and punctuality.
  • Resolve routine on-site issues and escalate significant concerns to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Complete and submit daily and weekly reports, including task completion, incidents, and supply needs.
  • Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment used by the team.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in commercial or residential cleaning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and supervise a small team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures.
  • Basic organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work schedules that may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
