Key Responsibilities

In your role as an LCSW, your daily activities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand patients' mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans that draw from best practices and evidence-based interventions.
  • Implementing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), carefully tailored to each patient's unique circumstances while also adapting to feedback during sessions.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with HIPAA standards and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and facilitate effective communication within the treatment team.
  • Engaging in active collaboration with psychiatrists and psychologists, participating in case consultations that foster interdisciplinary cooperation and enhance patient care.
  • Providing education and resources to patients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and helpful community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest mental health research, integrating new findings into your therapeutic approach, and sharing knowledge with team members.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse range of clients within the school setting, addressing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges in children and adolescents. You will play a vital role in promoting mental wellness and supporting academic success among students, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting providing social work services.
  • Expertise in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Strong commitment to cultural competency and ethical practices in social work.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children and their families.
  • Proficiency in family therapy approaches and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from

$78,000 - $115,000
