Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, experience with modern backend frameworks, database design, and API development, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs.

  • Build scalable and reliable microservices and distributed systems.

  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.

  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

  • Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product teams.

  • Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or C#.

  • Experience with backend frameworks (Spring Boot, Express.js, Django, FastAPI, NestJS, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API security.

  • Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

  • Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) is preferred.

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2-5+ years of backend development experience (depending on the role level).

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture.

  • Knowledge of system design and distributed systems.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
