Hands-On Controller / Senior Accounting Manager


We are looking for a highly competent, hands-on accounting leader to take ownership of our bookkeeping and accounting operations.


This is not a passive management role. The right person must be willing and able to personally perform the accounting work from day one, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP, AR, month-end close, QBO cleanup, reporting, and process improvement. You will have budget to hire one accounting clerk quickly, but you will remain ultimately responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the accounting function.


We need someone who can walk into QuickBooks Online, understand what is happening, identify what is broken, clean up the process, and build a reliable accounting rhythm for a growing operating business.

Ideal background includes experience with QBO, inventory or manufacturing accounting, small-business accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, AR/AP, sales tax coordination, payroll coordination, and building accounting SOPs.


This role is best suited for someone who is controller-capable but still enjoys being close to the work.
