JOB SUMMARY
Help keep our racetrack safe and race-ready! This hands-on role supports the Track Maintenance Superintendent, operates tractors and track equipment, and maintains a level, consistent surface. Ideal candidates are hardworking, detail-oriented, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and eligible for a Pennsylvania Racing License. High school diploma required; vocational skills a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate is responsible for assisting Track Maintenance Superintendent. Candidate will also work on track surface to maintain a safe, level, and un-bias surface. Candidate must be able to operate tractors and other track maintenance equipment. Must have thorough knowledge of all aspects of the implements used to maintain the racecourse. Candidate will contribute to the Racing Department team by overseeing and following through with other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Candidate must be hard working and motivated, have working knowledge of general maintenance, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, operate tractor, and attention to detail a must. Candidate is required to be able to obtain/maintain a Pennsylvania Racing License.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational skills a plus!
