Role Description The Apprentice Stylist role at Chudnico is a full-time, hybrid position based in Jacksonville, FL. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting senior stylists with guest preparation, shampooing, basic blow-drying, and maintaining clean, organized workstations and common areas. The Apprentice Stylist will assist with product setup, tool sanitation, and content needs, as well as learn and practice cutting, styling, and color techniques under supervision. The role also involves greeting guests, confirming appointments, managing simple check-in/check-out processes, and participating in ongoing training sessions to advance toward an independent stylist position.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess foundational hair care and styling skills, including basic shampooing, blow-drying, brushing, and familiarity with salon tools.
• Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, maintain a clean workspace, and follow appointment schedules.
• Candidates should possess a willingness to learn and adapt, including openness to coaching, feedback, and ongoing technical education.
• Completion or current enrollment in a cosmetology program, or relevant formal training, is preferred; appropriate state licensing requirements must be met as applicable.
• Reliable attendance, a professional appearance, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some eveningss or weekends

if scheduled.

• Basic computer skills and comfort using digital tools for scheduling, messaging, or online training are beneficial.
