Chloeta is hiring an Electrical Engineer to provide professional engineering services in support of federal facilities and infrastructure projects. This role supports a wide range of architectural and engineering (A/E) services, including planning, design, construction administration, inspection, and technical analysis for new construction, renovations, and modernization of Federal facilities. The Electrical Engineer works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet federal codes, standards, sustainability goals, and agency-specific requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Designs and Documents services including new power service and distribution, lighting, telephones, fire detection and alarm, security systems, electronic communications, special electrical systems, and general space requirements
- Supports site and facilities projects including power distribution, emergency backup systems, electronics, computer systems, generators, telecommunications, control systems, alarm and security systems, and instrumentation.
- Conducts engineering inspections and assessments of existing facilities to support renovations, upgrades, and condition assessments
- Supports environmental studies and permitting coordination as applicable to electrical systems and infrastructure

Required Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrated experience with electrical system design for commercial, institutional, or industrial facilities
- Knowledge of federal design standards, codes, and regulations applicable to electrical engineering
- Proficiency with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, electrical analysis tools)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting federal agencies
- Familiarity with construction administration and field inspection on federal projects.
Education and Experience
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related
- Required: At least Two (2) years of professional electrical engineering experience
- Required: Professional Engineer (PE) license in any of the following states: Region 8- Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk for report preparation and computer work.
- Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and GPS/GIS equipment
- Travel to Federal facilities and project sites may be required
