Core Responsibilities
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gathering information through client data sets, customer surveys, and market research.
  • Research & Hypothesis Testing: Conducting industry benchmarking and expert interviews to validate business hypotheses.
  • Deliverable Creation: Designing high-quality PowerPoint presentations and financial models to communicate findings to clients and senior management.
  • Process Optimization: Identifying operational bottlenecks and documenting requirements for new system implementations.
  • Client Interaction: Participating in workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present preliminary results under the guidance of senior leaders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a STEM field is standard.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills inMicrosoft Excel(pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling) andPowerPointare essential. Familiarity withSQL,Python, or data visualization tools likeTableauis increasingly preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, exceptional written and verbal communication, and the ability to thrive in high‑pressure, ambiguous environments.
  • Certifications: While not always required, theECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis)can be advantageous for beginners.
