Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Electrical Engineer 3's for a contract opportunity San Diego, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 5 or more years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 3 years of experience.
  • Experience reading and interpreting specifications, schematics and block diagrams
  • Experience designing and debugging electrical circuits and/or products
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
  • Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
  • Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects.
  • Experience with RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
  • Experience with RF/Digital hardware and software
  • Basic Understanding of VHDL Concepts & Programming
  • Experience with Hardware Requirements Derivation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.
  • Experience with AWR Microwave Office, LTSpice, Xpedition, Mentor Graphics, LabVIEW, & DOORS would be a plus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS
9/80 workweek.
