RN Contract Opportunity - Obstetric Care Unit (OCU)
Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (CCHCF), Chinle, AZ
Period of Performance: August 1, 2025 - July 31, 2026

Role Overview:
Seeking two skilled Registered Nurses to support the Obstetric Care Unit (OCU) at CCHCF. RNs will provide care to obstetric and newborn patients, assist with labor/delivery, and collaborate in cross-functional team environments.
Work Schedule:
• Day Shifts: 11.5 hours (1-hour lunch)
• Night Shifts: 12 hours (30-min lunch)
• Schedule: 6-7 shifts per 2-week pay period
• Includes: Rotating days/nights, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities:
• Full range OB and newborn care in OCU
• Patient-centered care for laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and neonatal patients
• Medication management and interpreting medical test results
• Cross-train with Women's Health Clinic (WHC)
• Documentation via CCHCF's Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Inter-facility transports and quality compliance
Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Degree/diploma from an accredited nursing program
• Experience: 36 months total RN experience, including 12 months in OB (unless waived)
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state/territory
• Certifications (Required):
oBLS (AHA)
oACLS
oNRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
oFetal Monitoring (for L&D)
Preferred:
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• TNCC, CNOR, or other OB-related certifications
Housing Info:
• Government quarters not guaranteed
