Toddler Lead

Location: Providence, RI 02908

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Toddler Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Providence, RI. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and guiding toddlers through their critical developmental stages, creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the toddler classroom, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Observe and assess each child's progress and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall goals of the program.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a lead toddler teacher or in a similar early childhood education role.
  • Strong knowledge of toddler development and best teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Relevant early childhood education credentials or certifications.
