Job description

Purpose of this Position:

Children’s Service Center and the Robinson Counseling Center for Adults is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well independently and collectively with other team members. Licensure (LCSW/LPC) is preferred for this position. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to lead, the Outpatient Therapist position provides services that include diagnostic bio-psycho social assessments, individual, group and family therapy, substance abuse screenings, trauma exposure screenings, domestic violence screenings, psychiatric evaluations, psychological evaluations, medication assessments and medication monitoring. The Outpatient Therapist serves children, adolescents, families and adults who might have difficulty functioning in their community, home, or school.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Knowledge of professional casework principles, practices, and methodology
  • Knowledge of individual and group dynamics
  • Utilization of a variety of modalities and techniques to address the needs of each client and their family

Qualifications:

Master's degree:

  • Graduate degree from an accredited college or university in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum.
  • Licensed in a generally recognized clinical discipline that includes mental health clinical experience (LPC, LCSW)
