We help companies optimise their HR functions, improve employee performance, and align HR strategies with overall business goals. Services range from generalist support to specialist areas such as talent management, compensation, and benefits.
Job Summary: The director of sales at an HR consulting firm is a senior‐level executive responsible for leading the sales department to achieve revenue goals. This leadership position develops sales strategies and manages a team of sales managers and representatives, focusing on growing the firm's client base of businesses that need human resources solutions. Strategic Planning and Business Development Create strategic sales plans: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets and expand the firm's market share.
Drive new business: Identify new business opportunities and new clients through networking, prospecting, and organic growth. Manage key client relationships: Nurture relationships with high‐value clients and stakeholders, often taking a hands‐on role in closing the largest or most complex deals. Expand offerings: Partner with other departments to identify opportunities for cross‐selling additional HR products and services to existing clients.
Sales Management and Leadership Lead the sales team: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of sales managers and representatives to drive performance and achieve sales targets. Set quotas and goals: Establish sales quotas, KPIs, and performance metrics, and track progress against them. Provide coaching and training: Guide the sales team through mentoring and training programs to improve their skills and help them reach their potential.
Conduct performance reviews: Perform regular reviews to evaluate and provide feedback on team and individual performance. Sales Operations and Analysis Develop sales processes: Design and refine the sales process from lead generation to close, including pipeline management and CRM optimisation. Analyse sales data: Use data analytics to monitor sales performance, identify trends, forecast sales, and make proactive adjustments to strategy.
Manage the sales budget: Develop and oversee the annual sales budget, including expense management and resource allocation. Report to leadership: Prepare and present regular reports and strategic updates on sales performance to senior management and other stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
