We are seeking a Technical Training & Instructional Design Specialist to design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs and learning materials for technical and business audiences. The ideal candidate will have experience creating instructor-led and digital learning solutions, developing curriculum and multimedia content, and applying innovative instructional techniques to maximize learner engagement and knowledge retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training curricula aligned with organizational learning objectives.
- Create engaging instructional materials, including course outlines, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and technical documentation.
- Develop multimedia learning content, eLearning modules, and computer-based training solutions.
- Apply alternative teaching methodologies and motivational learning techniques to improve learner participation and retention.
- Design and integrate instructional technologies and computer-aided learning tools into training programs.
- Format, review, and refine training content developed by subject matter experts and other team members to ensure clarity, consistency, accessibility, and instructional effectiveness.
- Maintain and update existing training materials to reflect process, technology, and business changes.
- Prepare and deliver technical training sessions for end users, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on learner feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, project teams, and business leaders to identify training needs and develop appropriate learning solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or corporate training.
- Proven ability to design and deliver technical training programs.
- Experience developing eLearning content and multimedia training materials.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience creating training documentation, instructional guides, and technical reference materials.
- Proficiency with learning technologies and content development tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Familiarity with multimedia authoring tools and eLearning development platforms.
- Experience supporting technology, software, systems, or process-based training initiatives.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for digital learning content.
