    Payroll & Benefits Administrator

    Are you looking to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults and caregivers through the work you do?

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support our growing team in a part-time capacity. This role is responsible for payroll processing, benefits administration, and supporting compliance with California wage and hour laws and employment regulations across the employee lifecycle. Preference will be given to candidates with healthcare, home care, or other highly regulated industry experience, though industry experience is not required.

    This position will also support workers' compensation administration, leave of absence processes, HR policy development and updates, and other HR operational initiatives to help ensure compliance, consistency, and a positive employee experience. Experience supporting HRIS implementations or system transitions is a plus.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process and support payroll administration, including timekeeping review, payroll changes, and payroll-related documentation
    • Administer employee benefits programs, enrollments, changes, and employee communication
    • Support compliance with California wage and hour laws, employment regulations, and company policies
    • Maintain accurate employee records and oversee HR/payroll documentation processes
    • Partner with leadership on employee relations matters and disciplinary documentation
    • Assist with leave administration, onboarding, and other HR operational processes
    • Support audits, reporting, and special projects as needed
    • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and employee experience
