Job description

Family Law Paralegal

Boca Raton, FL | Full-Time | Boutique Law Firm

A well-established boutique family law firm in Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their two-attorney team. This is a fast-paced, traditional office environment where professionalism, accuracy, and a strong work ethic are non-negotiable. If you're someone who takes pride in doing things the right way and thrives under pressure, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

  • Transcribe attorney dictation and produce polished legal documents with speed and precision
  • Draft and finalize pleadings, motions, correspondence, and family law agreements
  • Handle court filings, including Florida e-filing
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and attorney calendars
  • Prepare financial affidavits and supporting documentation for dissolution cases
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff in a professional manner
  • Assist with discovery, subpoenas, and document production
  • Coordinate hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Keep both physical and digital files organized and current

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience in family law — this is a must
  • Strong dictation and transcription skills
  • Solid knowledge of Florida family law procedures and court requirements
  • Someone who is organized, dependable, and able to manage a heavy caseload
  • A professional who can work independently and doesn't need hand-holding
  • Comfortable in a traditional, high-volume office that does not rely on AI tools
  • Paralegal certificate or Associate's degree preferred; relevant experience considered

What's In It For You

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Health benefits
  • Retirement plan
  • A stable role with a respected firm that values hard work and loyalty

To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter. No phone calls, please.

Equal Opportunity Employer.
