The Fire Suppression Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various fire suppression systems, including chemical-based. This role involves working independently as well as collaborating with a maintenance team to ensure reliable fire protection for clients. The technician will primarily serve local and regional areas and has opportunities for growth through training, certification, and advancing to technical specialist or project leadership roles.
Note: At this time, we are NOT looking for Fire Alarm technicians. We are only looking for Fire suppression system technicians only.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and service chemical fire suppression systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support
- Work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Travel locally and regionally to service client sites
- Document service activities and reports accurately
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in fire suppression service
- Technical certification in fire protection or related field
- Knowledge of fire suppression and fire alarm systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
