Position Requirements

Description
Immediate CAA openings at Blue Ridge Surgery Center in Raleigh, NC; flexible, fast-paced 8-bed ambulatory surgery center. Increased Compensation and Sign On Incentives just announced! Blue Ridge Surgery Center was established in 1985 on Blue Ridge Road with four operating rooms. Since then, it has grown to six operating rooms with two procedure rooms. Today, this location spans 13,000 square feet and is staffed by 80 professionals, including long-tenured teammates. Blue Ridge Surgery Center is committed to high-quality surgery services that deliver superior patient experience and clinical outcomes. A foundation for the Blue Ridge Surgical Center team is their commitment to training, education, and the advancement of the work environment through dedicated support.

Case Assignments & Schedule
Schedule: No call, weekends, or holiday work.
Full spectrum of outpatient anesthesia-orthopedics, cataracts, retinas, ENT pediatrics, and GYN.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
Master's Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
