Job description
- Primary Academy: PreK – 2nd Grade
- Elementary Academy: 3rd – 5th Grade
- Work 3 hours per day (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM), 5 days per week.
- Lead and supervise a single grade-level group.
- Engage students in academic, STEAM, and recreational activities.
- Assist students with homework and reading assignments.
- Monitor students during enrichment courses and daily activities.
- Maintain attendance and snack records.
- Support student growth and communicate student needs with staff.
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and program events.
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required.
- Experience working with children, education, youth development, or a related field preferred.
- Strong classroom management and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to youth and community engagement.
- Creativity, patience, professionalism, and punctuality.
- Ability to attend all required trainings and meetings.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with and/or teaching children required.
- Experience in after-school programs, youth development, or education preferred.
- $22/hour
