Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and screenings to gather comprehensive information about clients’ mental health concerns, and develop precise, personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Engage in regular case consultation with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure holistic and integrated care delivery.
• Support clients throughout their journey by offering educational resources and personal support to family members, promoting their participation in the treatment process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation using our electronic health record system, adhering to all HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our mental health counselors work with a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from children and adolescents to adults from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. This diverse client focus enables our therapists to enhance their clinical skills while promoting cultural competence and understanding of different mental health perspectives.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• Must demonstrate prior experience in mental health counseling, showing a proven track record in therapeutic interventions.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices related to a variety of mental health disorders is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills are critical for building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with our multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Extensive experience in a clinical setting that focuses on mental health recovery.
• Demonstrated proficiency in leading group therapy sessions.
• Previous experience working in virtual care settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

• We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
