Insurance Sales Representative – State Farm Agent Team MemberLocation: Portland, OR (Near Beaverton)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Hourly + Commission/Bonuses
Position Overview
Chad Elder State Farm is looking for a motivated and personable Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing team. You’ll connect with prospective and existing customers, understand their insurance needs, and recommend coverage that helps protect what matters most.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is motivated by goals, and wants to build a rewarding career in insurance sales.
Responsibilities
  • Generate new business through leads, referrals, networking and outbound calls
  • Quote and sell auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage
  • Cross-sell State Farm products to new and existing customers
  • Follow up with prospects and maintain an organized sales pipeline
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Meet individual and team sales goals
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented
  • Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, email, text, and in person
  • Sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Insurance licensing: Will need Property, Casualty, Life & Health
