Position Summary

We are looking for a detail‑oriented accounting professional to join our wealth management team. You will handle the preparation and review of personal and fiduciary income tax returns, financial administration, and strategic tax advisory services for high‑net‑worth clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal and fiduciary income tax returns, including multi‑state filings.
• Prepare and review tax projections for planning, estimated taxes, and other tax planning activities.
• Respond to tax notices and assist with tax audits.
• Conduct tax research and lead special projects.
• Review payroll tax returns and related information.
• File tax returns and provide comprehensive tax advisory services.
• Provide financial administration and concierge services for multiple clients, including direct client contact and review of bookkeeping entries such as general ledger postings, payroll, bank reconciliations, write‑ups, and financial statements.
• Offer strategic tax advisory services on equity‑compensation arrangements (stock options, restricted stock units, employee stock purchase plans) to optimize tax outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review client‑specific reports, including financial statements, budgets, cash flow and spending reports, and financial plans.
• Develop and maintain superior client relationships.
• Collaborate with other members of a client’s wealth‑management team.
• Manage business aspects of client relationships, including billing, collection, and profitability analysis.
• Provide comprehensive tax advisory services to private equity executives on carried‑interest structures, IRC Section 1061 holding‑period requirements, and capital versus ordinary allocation optimization.
• Navigate complex AMT planning for ISO exercises and multi‑state tax allocation issues, ensuring accurate equity‑compensation income sourcing across jurisdictions and optimal timing of elections under IRC Section 83(b).

Required Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of income‑tax planning, financial planning, and financial administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Tax a plus.
• CPA license preferred; CFP desirable.
• Proficient in Bloomberg Tax and BNA software systems for tax research, compliance, and advisory services.
• 5–7 years of high‑net‑worth tax experience with a CPA firm or wealth‑management firm.
• Extensive experience preparing and reviewing individual income tax returns for high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax.
• Ability to manage professionals, workflow, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Professionalism, dependability, integrity, trustworthiness, and a team mentality.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $100,000 – $150,000.
