We are currently seeking a Sales Representative based out of our Hannibal office. This salaried position will cover Western Missouri and Eastern Illinois, with a Monday through Friday schedule. Company vehicle and cell phone provided, as well as a strong benefits and compensation package. Major Sales Representative Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate customer needs and build long-lasting relationships with customers and industry contacts.
- Handle customer inquiries timely and professionally, offer well thought out solutions to challenges.
- Selling construction aggregate products and ensuring satisfaction after the sale.
- Work with plant superintendents and customer service associates to assist with overseeing customer service matters at the plants.
- Provide sales projections - discuss sales forecasts, upcoming and current jobs, and inventories with superintendents.
- Utilize computer software such as JWS / APEX Jobfile and ticketing software, as well as Microsoft Office products.
Sales Representative Candidate Requirements:
- 5+ years of outside sales experience.
- Knowledge of construction aggregates a plus.
- Ability to build and develop effective relationships.
- Strong problem resolution skills.
- Commitment to a high level of integrity.
- Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, and can work well in a team environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record (and maintain throughout employment).
