Pharmacy Role

Responsible for pharmacy duties, ensuring accuracy of medicine handling as well as an efficient workflow in providing patients with pharmacy needs are of a consistently high priority.

Responsibilities

• Helps establish and implement cost effective, results based, and professionally managed programs and innovative initiatives for the pharmacy area, under direct supervision.
• Practices analyzing and filling patients' prescriptions.
• Learns how to run tests on patients, take their blood pressure and administer flu shots.
• Measures the correct amount of medication and collects payment from customers.
• Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
• Understands and applies the organization's mission, vision, and core values of improving health and promoting well-being in day-to-day interactions with pharmacy team.

Qualifications

Enrolled in pharmacy program.
