Centra Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. You will work regular hours from Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to choose your schedule within those days, supporting work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modern rehabilitation equipment, to help alleviate pain and enhance patients' mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support and guidance regarding treatment modalities and rehabilitative exercise.
• Educate patients and caregivers on effective use of assistive devices for mobility and self-care, promoting independence and confidence in their recovery journey.
• Engage in continuous learning through participation in workshops, seminars, and professional organizations to stay updated on the latest techniques and best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients at Centra Physical Therapy will range in age from children to senior adults, encompassing a wide variety of diagnoses and rehabilitation needs. Whether working with post-surgical patients needing assistance to regain mobility or providing care to individuals facing chronic pain, you will be instrumental in facilitating their journey to a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapy license valid in the State of New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with both patients and fellow healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in computer and word processing skills will aid in maintaining accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• A compassionate, flexible, and agile approach to patient care is highly valued.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally working in rehabilitation or home healthcare.

Compensation and Benefits
