Position Overview

Center Field Counseling LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic outpatient mental health team in Indio, California. This full-time position offers a flexible work setting, allowing counselors to engage with clients through both in-person and telehealth platforms, creating accessibility for a diverse client base.

Work Environment

Our team operates within a supportive, remote work environment following standard office hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. As part of our community health clinic, you will have all the resources necessary to offer a holistic approach to mental health treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions tailored to client needs, currently possible through both in-person interaction and telehealth sessions, ensuring a flexible and accommodating service delivery.
• Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to thoroughly understand each client’s unique circumstances, strengths, and areas for growth, and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address and support diverse client goals.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and peer consultation sessions to foster personal and professional growth while ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and additional support staff to ensure holistic and coordinated care for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPCC will have the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various mental health issues. This position allows counselors to utilize their unique skills and interests, whether focusing on trauma recovery, youth development, or navigating the challenges faced by marginalized populations.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPCC license in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient mental health or a related clinical setting.
• Demonstrable commitment to ethical standards, culturally humble practice, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with EHR systems, ensuring accurate documentation and client record management.

Preferred Experience

• Additional certifications such as EMDR or Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) are highly preferred.
• Bilingual fluency or specialized experience working with youth, trauma-informed care, or other marginalized populations is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
