Title: Reporting Analyst (Cedar Gate)
Location: Baltimore, MD area (local candidates only)

Project Description
Our client is seeking a Reporting Analyst with specific experience leveraging the data analytics tool Cedar Gate to provide reporting extraction and presentation for their claims group. The selected candidate will shape and execute reporting strategy for collected data, help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports, communicate results to stakeholders, and provide suggestions based on findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and create reports that meet business requirements; identify functional requirements through process analysis, document review, and stakeholder interviews
  • Analyze data, develop observations and findings, and create/test reports incorporating feedback and revisions
  • Conduct quality control, communicate findings, and obtain stakeholder sign-off before implementing reports into production
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses, research moderately complex issues, and develop reports in support of reporting requirements
  • Analyze and interpret data, and make recommendations to improve reporting processes
  • Collaborate with a Requirements/Business Analyst on interviews and workgroups to capture and develop requirements; manage requirement changes
  • Support business operations development and create standard operating procedures
  • Work alongside Developers and System Architects to translate requirements into system concept of operations from both business and technical perspectives

Mandatory Skills

  • BS degree + 5 years of Reporting Analyst experience (9 years of experience acceptable in lieu of degree)
  • 3+ years of experience with Cedar Gate (IQVIA product)
  • Healthcare reporting and analytics experience
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis skills
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex reports to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working directly with clients and account management teams
  • Strong problem-solving and data validation skills
