Work Environment

This full-time position involves working onsite at our outpatient facility in Jacksonville, where you will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. You will typically work a 40-hour week, with some variable weekends, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. Your clinical skills will be supported by state-of-the-art equipment and resources to enhance patient outcomes and streamline administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine, evaluate, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with diverse functional impairments.
  • Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding patients’ continuity of care.
  • Maintain compliance with customer service standards while interacting with patients from various backgrounds and age groups.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment and discharge plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately to meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary treatment teams, referring physicians, and support staff.
  • Engage in leadership opportunities through community outreach, marketing, and program development.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional education for skill enhancement.
  • Supervise and mentor assigned support staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. By applying evidence-based practices and individualized care, you will play a critical role in improving their mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • A current State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to convey complex medical information effectively.
  • Proficiency in word processing and basic computer applications is needed for documentation and record-keeping.
Preferred Experience

We require a minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, ideally within an outpatient setting. Experience handling a diverse patient demographic and familiarity with innovative treatment modalities will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
