Job Description

Job Summary and Mission
We are currently seeking to add an upbeat and dynamic barista with self motivation and a passion for specialty coffees and teas to the Carefree Coffee Roastery Team. We are looking to fill a part time barista position who is available to work mornings and early afternoons. A successful candidate will demonstrate a high willingness to learn, punctuality, and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities 

• Provides outstanding customer service and individualized attention to all customers
  
• Willingness to develop a knowledge base of specialty coffees and teas
  
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  
• Provides consistent product quality
  
• Follows health, safety, and sanitary guidelines for all products
  
• Follows cash handling policies and procedures
  
• Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
  
• Flexibility to perform various operational tasks

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

• Active Food Service Worker Card
  
• Must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills to allow for effective communication with customers
  
• Must be reliable and punctual
  
• Must be able to kneel and stand for extended periods of time
  
• Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays
  
• Passion and knowledge for tea and coffee is highly preferred
