Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for groups, families, couples, and individual clients, employing a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, facilitating coordinated treatment plans that address both mental and physical health needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, protecting client confidentiality and ensuring quality of care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest research developments in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Carecube Medical Services, you will primarily serve individuals and families who may have limited access to traditional mental health care. This includes working with populations facing socioeconomic challenges, trauma, substance use issues, and various mental health conditions. Your role will be vital in providing culturally competent care that meets the diverse needs of our community.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is essential.
  • At least two years of experience in a counseling role, with a preference for experience in clinical settings.
  • A strong foundational knowledge of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating rapport with a diverse client base.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a healthcare team environment.
  • Familiarity with EMR software and the ability to navigate clinical documentation efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment are highly regarded.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the unique challenges they face in accessing mental health services is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
