Base pay range $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr CareNatal is seeking a 100% remote business development associate (part-time) to lead outreach to OB/GYN clinics and other healthcare practitioners.
CareNatal is at the forefront of innovation in prenatal vitamins, with their hero product, a nutritionally complete prenatal vitamin powder drink mix. With 25M+ views on social media and a fast growing business, they are eager to expand their team, specifically looking for moms to help them on their mission to serve soon-to-be moms! This individual will be responsible for making connections with OB/GYN offices and other practitioners through phone calls and emails, to introduce them to the brand and offer free samples.
This individual will also steward and maintain these relationships over time while working to build new contacts as well. The ideal candidate has a strong background in conducting business development and sales outreach to healthcare providers. Ideally their experience is with reaching out to OB/GYNs.
They should be ready to bring their expertise to a fast growing & exciting team. This person should have a strong foundation of values and ethics and cares about supporting moms. The ideal candidate has grit, excellent communication skills, can work independently, has strong organizational skills, and is eager to work at a company focused on serving moms.
Ideally looking for someone who can grow in the role and earn more hours, with the potential to grow into a full-time position. NOTE: This is a role that the CEO/founder will personally pour a lot of time and care into the person who fills this role to ensure their growth and success. There is also flexibility to shape the role in a way that is exciting and rewarding for the ideal candidate and their preferences!
NOTE: SIGNIFICANT CONSIDERATION GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WITH A BACKGROUND IN MEDICAL/PHARMA SALES or any other background where outreach to physicians and healthcare clinics was required. Hours: 10-12 hours/week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position. Pay: $25-30, based on qualifications and experience.
(This role is not commission based because we are not selling prenatal vitamins, we are introducing the brand to provideres by offering brand one pager and free samples for patients.) Core responsibilities (90% of role) Independently execute practitioner outreach through phone calls and emails and track those relationships to measure progress toward short- and long-term goals. (10% of role) Work with CEO to craft effective outreach messaging for practitioners Qualifications/Skills Required: 2+ years of experience leading sales/outbound business development targetted at healthcare providers and healthcare clinics A drive and motivation to support young women as they navigate their journey to motherhood Amazing values, ethics, and a drive for doing good in the world, particularly in service of young first-time moms Bachelor's Degree or post-graduate degree Familiarity and comfort around Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets High EQ & empathy. Strongly preferred: A background in healthcare/medical/pharma sales. B2B sales backgrounds will also be considered Knowledge and experience in outreach and business development, targetting physicians and healthcare clinics Has the grit, tenacity, and values to be able to grow a brand focused on serving first time moms, easing the journey to motherhood, and improving birth outcomes.
