NOW HIRING: Personal Supports (PS) & Companion/Life Skills Development (LSD-1) Staff

Location: Tampa Bay Area

Provider: Care One Health Options

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated staff to provide services to an adult male with Cerebral Palsy living with his elderly mother.

*Personal Supports (PS)

Schedule: 40 Hours Weekly

• Monday–Friday: 5 hours daily
• Saturday–Sunday: 7.5 hours daily

Responsibilities Include:

• Assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Laundry and changing bedding as needed
• Meal preparation and cooking
• Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment
• Monitoring food and fluid intake to prevent choking
• Community safety supervision
• Documentation of services provided

*Companion / Life Skills Development (LSD-1)

Schedule: 25 Hours Weekly

• Monday–Friday: 5 hours daily

Responsibilities Include:

• Community integration and recreational outings
• Socialization and community participation
• Accompanying individual to parks, libraries, restaurants, shopping, and community events
• Encouraging adaptive fitness activities and walking programs
• Supporting hobbies such as coloring, arts and crafts, and favorite television programs
• Assisting with weekly "New Experience Day" activities
• Promoting independence, self-advocacy, and personal choice

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass required background screening
• Ability to complete required Medicaid Waiver documentation
