Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable
Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door or call our office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check patients in and out in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries or route calls appropriately
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using our scheduling software
- Verify and update patient information in the system
- Collect co-pays and handle basic billing or insurance questions
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
- Communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle administrative tasks as needed (e.g., filing, scanning, email)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred (medical or dental office a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working with scheduling and patient management software
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
