Job description

Cardinal FG- Durant has your new career!!!
Cardinal FG-Durant is a World Class glass manufacturing facility. We produce flat glass that is primarily used for residential windows. Cardinal FG-Durant, is a team-based facility and currently has openings for Production Technicians. Our facility, located in Durant, OK is a safety sensitive, clean and temperature controlled environment.
Cardinal Glass Industries is the premier glass manufacturer in North America. We are the leading supplier to all major residential window and door manufacturers in the US and Canada. At Cardinal, we maintain a clear vision of designing and fabricating the most advanced residential glass products in the industry.
The schedule requires you to be able to work 12-hour shifts rotating days and nights, working 3 or 4 days/week in a tobacco and drug free environment.
The jobs include the following:
  • Glass Handler - packs glass onto racks
  • Automation line operator- operates and monitors the automation/robot equipment
  • Offline cutting system operator- operates an independent auto/cutting system
  • Driver- operates powered industrial vehicles safely moving racks of glass
  • Closing Inspector- verifies that the glass meets customer specifications
  • Closer- closes racks of glass using various packaging materials

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Tape measure reading and basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate on a computer in a windows-based environment
  • Able to safely lift 50 pounds
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Manufacturing experience preferred and training is provided
  • Pass a pre-employment physical, drug test including hair follicle.

What Cardinal FG-Durant has to offer:
  • 12-hour rotating shift schedule - 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights including every other weekend.
  • Starting wage is $20.65/hour for day shifts and $22.65/hour for night shifts. Wage increases (based on successful performance evaluations) after six-months.
