As a Plumber Apprentice, you will assist with the various plumbing and piping systems that will be installed on commercial construction sites.
Job Duties
• Assists with commercial and industrial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale construction projects such as healthcare, government, educations, manufacturing and others
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Assists with the installation of chilled, hot and steam piping
• Assist with the installation of valves, hangers, supports, and flanges inside HVAC piping systems
• Prepare pipe and fittings for hoisting and rigging
• Basic use of hand and power tools
• Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights
• Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and ability to read a tape measure
• Must have your own transportation
• Previous construction experience, preferably commercial/residential plumbing
