Role Description: The Administrative Assistant is a part-time, on-site role in Lehi, Utah, expected to work around 20 hours a week initially. Paying $20 an hour with the opportunity to be brought on full-time in the future based on company needs and performance.


This role will support the day-to-day operations of a growing financial planning firm. This position provides hands-on exposure to the insurance, investment, financial planning, and client service functions of the business. The intern will assist with processing life insurance and investment account applications, tracking client onboarding progress, organizing documentation, and coordinating with clients, custodians, and insurance carriers. They will support financial planning initiatives by maintaining client data, preparing reports and spreadsheets, and helping create materials for client meetings and ongoing planning projects. In addition, the intern will assist with scheduling, client communications, recordkeeping, CRM management, workflow tracking, and various operational projects that help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who wants to develop a broad understanding of financial planning operations while contributing to an exceptional client experience.


Qualifications

  • Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage scheduling, documentation, and office operations.
  • Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and reliability in handling confidential information.
  • Customer service mindset and the ability to interact respectfully with diverse clients and team members.
  • Self-starter and ability to solve problems
  • Prior experience in a financial services or professional office environment is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
