Position Overview

Capital Life Orthopedics is seeking a passionate and committed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Santa Clarita, California. You will play a crucial role in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients in an engaging outpatient setting.

Located in the heart of Santa Clarita, Capital Life Orthopedics operates in a state-of-the-art, 5,000 square-foot rehabilitation facility designed specifically for outpatient orthopedic therapy. Our practice is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care and is committed to enhancing the overall well-being of our patients. With a focus on private medical insurance clients, our team is comprised of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all striving for excellence in therapy outcomes.

Work Environment

This onsite role offers a supportive and collaborative work environment where teamwork is highly valued. You will have access to advanced rehabilitation equipment and tools, alongside facilities designed to promote effective physical therapy practices. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life structure while allowing you to fully dedicate your expertise to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and identify the unique goals and needs of each patient.
  • Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and high-quality care.
  • Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans using a myriad of techniques, tailored to improve clients' mobility and functionality.
  • Utilize non-surgical options to minimize medication dependency, focusing on holistic and cost-effective treatments.
  • Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that address the specific requirements and conditions of patients.
  • Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging treatment atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Document all services rendered and monitor treatment progress, maintaining clear communication with patients and their families.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Capital Life Orthopedics, our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic patients, many of whom are motivated individuals seeking to regain their strength and mobility following surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding these patients through personalized rehabilitation programs that reflect our commitment to quality care and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Successfully completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), with a focus on orthopedic therapy.
  • Possess an active Physical Therapist license in California, with no recorded board actions or disciplinary measures.
  • Demonstrate exceptional manual therapy skills, alongside a strong understanding of exercise program design and execution.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in managing diverse patient caseloads and tailoring interventions to individual client needs.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
