Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Pay: $19.50/hr+, Depending on prior related working experience.


This is a fully in-office position located at the Canyon View Credit Union Financial Center in West Jordan, UT. 


Your Purpose will be:

This position is responsible for providing front desk support and security at the West Jordan Financial Center location (FC1), as well as service and support for consumer loans, including employee support, payoff processing, back-end product servicing, insurance, and title work. All employees are also responsible for supporting our Mission Statement: We elevate our members’ financial experience through best-in-class Service and Solutions. This is accomplished primarily by providing superior support to our member-facing teams.


What you’ll do:

  • Provide front desk support including checking in and out vendors/visitors, receiving deliveries, communicating with facilities team to address building and property needs, providing temporary employee badges, etc. 
  • Maintain building security by professionally greeting all visitors, employees, and vendors, and monitoring receiving entrances during business hours.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and parcels accurately and timely.
  • Check in all incoming packages using Envoy to ensure accurate tracking and delivery
  • Coordinate with mail vendors to support daily pickup of time-sensitive parcels.
  • Prepare and process branch supply orders and daily courier bags.
  • Provide support to the Direct Lending team as needed and as assigned. 
  • Process and post daily checks received for collateralized loan payoffs, and Bill Pay. 
  • Process and post Indirect chargeback checks received.
  • Other duties assigned.
  • Understand the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied.

Requirements:

The experience you need to succeed:

  • One to two years’ experience working in a customer service/ support role.
  • Experience communicating professionally with members and guests in-person, over the phone, and through digital mediums. 
  • Experience with Banking, Lending, or other financial topics is a plus. 
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Proficient with standard office business machinery and software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.

  • Works primarily in an office environment. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp and reach. A computer, phone, and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision. The employee may at times also need to: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
