About the Opportunity
A respected and growing law firm in Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its legal team. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting attorneys and clients through all stages of family law matters.
The successful candidate will play a key role in case management, client communication, and trial preparation while working closely with attorneys on a variety of domestic relations cases.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with all phases of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and post-judgment matters.
Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, discovery requests, and correspondence.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.
Prepare and file legal documents with state and local courts.
Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, and attorney calendars.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Review and organize financial records and discovery materials.
Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, witness files, and case summaries.
Maintain confidentiality while managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Family Law Paralegal required.
Paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of family law procedures and court filing requirements.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple active cases.
High attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional client service.
