Job description

Certified Special Education Teacher (Full-Time)

Private School | Holistic + Functional Education | Waldorf Meets ABA

We’re a small, innovative private school serving neurodiverse students — including those with Autism and related developmental differences — through an integrated approach that blends Waldorf-inspired education with ABA strategies.

We are seeking a dedicated, flexible, and compassionate Special Education Teacher to work with students on the autism spectrum with higher support independence, helping prepare them for the world beyond the classroom.

✨ We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with students with Autism or related developmental differences
  • Understands (or is excited to learn about) Waldorf and ABA teaching methods
  • Is passionate about transition-focused education and life skills development
  • Is creative, collaborative, and comfortable thinking outside the box
  • Holds a Special Education credential (or equivalent experience)
  • Has or currently working on teaching license/certificate

Compensation & Work Environment:

  • Hourly or salaried, depending on experience and preference
  • Pay based on experience and qualifications
  • Low student-to-teacher ratios for deeper connection and meaningful impact
  • Supportive, team-driven culture that values curiosity, humor, and innovation

Why Join Us?

  • Play a vital role in helping students build confidence, independence, and real-world readiness
  • Be part of a school that values creativity over conformity, and connection over compliance
  • Collaborate with a passionate team in a warm, respectful work environment
  • Bring your unique gifts into a classroom that celebrates the individuality of every student

We're excited to meet an educator who’s ready to shape young lives and futures with heart, purpose, and creativity.
