Summary:

As a CNC programmer, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing process and responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs that guide our cutting-edge machinery. Your expertise will ensure that we produce complex parts with precision and efficiency. Working closely with our engineering and production teams, you'll contribute to developing innovative manufacturing solutions that meet our high quality and performance standards.


Responsibility:

  • Develop and write programs for CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Optimize cutting conditions, select appropriate tools, and determine the sequence of operations to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Perform simulations and test runs of CNC programs to ensure accuracy and safety before full-scale production.
  • Collaborate with machinists and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve programming issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high productivity.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new programming techniques, machine tools, and software to improve our manufacturing processes continually.
  • Document and manage CNC programs and revisions, ensuring accessibility and organization.
  • Assist in training machinists on new CNC programs and guide best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting ways to reduce costs and increase efficiency and product quality.


Requirements:

  • Associate degree or certification in CNC programming, machining, or a related field.
  • years of experience as a CNC programmer in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in [your industry/product line].
