Job description

This year, the Cache County Fair will celebrate 147 years! We are looking for cashiers, vendor support, and data entry workers to join our legacy. The Fair will be held from August 5th to 8th, 2026.

Rodeo and Fair Cashiers

As a Rodeo and Fair Cashier, you'll be the friendly face welcoming guests and helping make their experience smooth and enjoyable. Fair and Rodeo cashiers work Monday through Saturday. Shifts are 4 to 8 hours between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. You must be 18 or older to apply.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to guests, staff, and volunteers.
  • Collect payments, issue tickets, and monitor entry points
  • Provide event information and assist with customer questions or concerns
  • Help maintain an efficient and welcoming ticketing operation.

Data Entry Workers

Data Entry workers are essential to keeping an accurate record of all fair entries. Data Entry workers will work Monday through Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter participant, exhibitor, and contest data into the fair's tracking system
  • Maintain accurate records of awards, ribbons, and prize distribution
  • Verify submitted information for accuracy and completeness

Vendor Support

Vendor Support plays a key role in assisting our vendors during event hours. Fair workers will work Monday through Saturday. Shifts will be up to 8 hours and will be between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Work Environment

These duties will be performed in a ticket booth or outdoors. Employees may be exposed to heat and cold. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds, walking, and standing.
