Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights

- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby to provide compassionate, high-quality care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in postpartum nursing and be comfortable caring for mothers and infants throughout the recovery process.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
- Assess, monitor, and document maternal and newborn conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and patient education according to physician orders.
- Support breastfeeding, newborn care, and family education.
- Collaborate with physicians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to maternal or neonatal emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Promote a safe, patient-centered environment while delivering exceptional care.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Mother Baby/Postpartum nursing experience.
- Strong postpartum nursing experience is required.
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, Operating Room (OR), and Antepartum is required.
