RN โ€“ Emergency Department (ED)

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Contract: 8 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Pay Rate:

  • Local: $1,400โ€“$1,500/Week (Based on Experience)
  • Travel: $1,600โ€“$1,700/Week (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to high-acuity patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and prioritize patient care.
  • Provide patient and family education.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and professional nursing standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Ohio RN License or Compact License required.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) required.
  • Strong critical-thinking and communication skills.
  • Emergency Department experience preferred.
  • Ability to provide age- and culturally appropriate patient care.
