Job description
Who We Are
CV (Christian Vision) is a global organisation that exists to introduce people to Jesus and encourage them to become his true followers. Evangelism is at the heart of all we do at CV, bringing the gospel to people around the world in both physical and digital realms.
If you are passionate about sharing the gospel and motivated by a desire to create meaningful change at scale, CV offers a unique mission-driven opportunity to join a team harnessing innovation and navigating new frontiers within evangelism.
Job Overview
The Talent Lead is responsible for designing, aligning, and strengthening CV’s global talent strategy across talent acquisition, workforce planning, and role architecture. This role ensures that CV attracts, selects, and positions the right people in the right roles at the right time to deliver on our mission.
Working closely with the Head of People Operations, the Talent Lead will standardize and elevate recruitment processes, introduce strategic workforce planning practices, and build a clear and scalable talent framework that supports growth, stewardship, and organisational health.
This role combines strategic design with operational execution, bringing structure, alignment, and foresight to how CV hires and deploys talent globally.
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop and lead CV’s global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and mission objectives.
- Standardize and continuously improve recruitment processes across all locations to drive consistency and efficiency.
- Partner with hiring managers to support effective, timely, and high-quality hiring decisions.
- Establish structured interview, selection, and assessment methodologies that ensure fairness, alignment to values, and quality of hire.
- Equip and train hiring managers with practical tools, guidance, and best practices to improve recruitment effectiveness.
- Lead strategic workforce planning, including headcount forecasting, capability gap analysis, and resource allocation recommendations.
- Design and maintain a clear global talent framework, including role architecture, competencies, and leveling principles.
- Provide data-driven insights through workforce analytics, translating metrics into actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Work with the communications team to strengthen employer branding and talent attraction strategies to position CV competitively in talent markets.
- Support succession planning and leadership pipeline development in partnership with senior leadership.
- Ensure all talent-related practices are compliant with legal requirements and reflect CV’s culture, values, and global operating context.
- Collaborate within a global organisation across time zones, including occasional out-of-hours availability when required.
General Responsibilities
Fulfil all duties outlined above for this specific role, and as directed below for all team members within CV. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Actively pursue personal, professional, and spiritual growth.
- Contribute positively to our team culture by upholding CV’s values in attitude and action.
- Comply with all CV policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in all matters.
- Engage fully in staff and team meetings, collaboration, and communication.
- Commit to continuous learning and development as needed for the role.
- Foster respectful, clear, and constructive communication across all interactions.
- A practising Christian in full agreement with the CV Statement of Faith.
- Actively involved in a local church or Christian faith community.
- Committed to living according to biblical values.
Skills, Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or related field is required.
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, or Talent Management is required.
- Experience building or standardizing recruitment processes across multiple locations or regions is desired.
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and organisational design.
- Strong analytical capability and experience using talent metrics to drive decisions.
- Experience working in global, multicultural environments.
- Knowledge of employment law fundamentals and compliance considerations.
- Experience in nonprofit, missions, or ministry settings is highly valued.
