Effective Date: August 17, 2027 (Fall Semester)
Salary Range: $6,221 to $13,224 per month (12 monthly payments per academic year). The anticipated hiring range: $10,916 to $11,750 per month. Salary offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in a relevant business area from an AACSB accredited business school, completed by August 1, 2027.
  • Demonstrated potential for effective teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels in artificial intelligence, business analytics, cybersecurity, and related areas.
  • Demonstrated potential for research, scholarship, and creative activities leading to publication and curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including low socioeconomic and first-generation students.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching artificial intelligence, business analytics, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong research pipeline with publications in high‑quality information systems journals.
  • Experience working successfully with diverse student populations.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting students using inclusive and culturally relevant teaching strategies.
Duties
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses (mode may include in-person, hybrid, online, or any combination).
  • Engage in research, scholarly and creative activities leading to presentations and publications.
  • Participate in service to the department, college, university, and community.
Employment Requirements

Applicants must successfully complete a background check (criminal records and telephone reference check). Candidates must disclose prior sexual harassment decisions and sign release forms if they reach final stages. All employees must comply with environmental health and safety regulations and California child abuse reporting laws. Hiring employees to perform CSU‑related work outside of California is prohibited effective January 1, 2022, unless approved for specific, documented purposes.
