The Member Service Representative delivers exceptional service by assisting members with transactions, account maintenance, and financial service inquiries. This role serves as a key point of contact and helps create a positive member experience while supporting the credit union's mission and service standards.
What You'll Do
  • Provide friendly, professional service to members in person, by phone, and through digital channels.
  • Open, close and maintain member accounts following established procedures.
  • Assist with resolving basic member inquiries and escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Process a full range of financial transactions and required paperwork adhering to credit union policies and procedures.
  • Educate members on credit union products and services and make referrals when appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience preferred, experience in financial services a plus; 6-12 months of CSE experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions confidently.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to providing outstanding member service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be bondable.
