Senior Acquisition SME

Functional Responsibilities

• Work as part of a larger Program team reporting to contract support Manager
• Provide direct support to CORs assigned to Program contracts
• Lead obligation of Program funds
  • Lead procurement package generation and submission
  • Lead development and submission of S1 Memo packages
  • Lead and coordinate evaluation of bids/proposals
  • Support contract award and closeout
• Lead submission of Program communication circuit requirements and track through installation
• Lead execution of selected projects as identified by the Program Manager
• Team with outside agency project leaders to ensure all work is synchronized with Program Goals and Objectives
• Prepare, track and maintain status of all Program acquisition efforts
• Lead development and analysis of recommendations on Program acquisition matters.
• Support development of annual Program acquisition goals and objectives
• Support Program spend plan development, execution and tracking
• Support documentation development for acquisition planning and project management from mission analysis and requirements generation through design, development, production, and deployment

Job Qualifications

• BS or BA degree with 15 years’ Government Acquisition experience or an MS degree with 10 years’ Government Acquisition experience
• Demonstrated experience with the DHS/CBP Budgeting and Acquisition process
• Active Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs and Border Protection Public Trust clearance
• Excellent written and oral communications skills, including development and presentation of briefings to senior Government personnel
• Self-starter capable of supporting senior Government personnel independently, with minimal supervision

Salary Range

$135,000-$150,000 Annual Salary (including Annual Bonus)
